These terms are the agreement between you and Calendar Compact (cal-compact.com) when you use this website, create an operator account, subscribe, or book an appointment through an operator's booking link. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What this product is. Calendar Compact is scheduling software. Operators share a booking link. Customers enter an address first and only see times that fit that day's route. We bill operators for the software. We do not invoice jobs, process customer payments for those jobs, or take a cut of Square, Venmo, cash, or any other job payment.
Operator accounts. You must use a real email you control. You are responsible for the login, your booking slug, the services and hours you publish, and the jobs that get booked. A subscription (or trial, or complimentary access we grant) is required for the public booking link to accept customers. Software billing runs through Stripe. You can cancel or update the card from the dashboard. If billing lapses, the dashboard can stay available while the public booking link stays off.
Trials. When a free trial is offered at checkout, it is for the software only. We collect a card at checkout. When the trial ends, Stripe bills the listed monthly price unless you cancel first. A trial does not guarantee bookings, fuel savings, or any particular number of jobs.
Customer bookings. Booking a time is an appointment with the operator, not with Calendar Compact. The operator sets prices, takes job payment, does the work, and handles no-shows. Customers can cancel from the link in the confirmation when that booking is still cancellable. Operators can cancel from the dashboard. We store the address and contact details needed to schedule and to send confirmations.
Texts. Transactional SMS (confirmations, day-before reminders, cancellation notices) is optional and requires a checked opt-in on the booking form. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel texts, START to opt back in, HELP for help. Details are on the SMS Terms page.
Acceptable use. Do not abuse the booking link, scrape or attack the service, impersonate someone else, or use Calendar Compact for anything illegal. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms or that puts other users at risk.
No guarantees. Slot suggestions depend on the hours, services, and strategy you set, plus drive-time data. Maps, traffic, and customer addresses can be wrong. We do not promise a full book, a clustered day, or that a customer will show up. The software is provided as-is.
Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Calendar Compact is not liable for lost jobs, fuel, wages, or goodwill, or for disputes between operators and their customers. Our total liability for a claim about the software is limited to the subscription fees you paid us for the software in the three months before the claim.
Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
