Calendar Compact (cal-compact.com) sends transactional booking texts for mobile service operators who use this product. Messages come from Calendar Compact about an appointment you scheduled on an operator's booking link — not from a marketing list.
Opt-in. On the booking form, directly under the phone number field, there is an unchecked box that says you agree to receive SMS text messages from Calendar Compact. Checking it is optional. We do not send SMS unless that box is checked. Phone and email are still required so the operator can contact you about the job. Checking the box is consent for automated messaging, separate from finishing the booking.
What we send. A confirmation when you book (includes a cancel or reschedule link), a reminder the day before your appointment, and a notice if that booking is cancelled or moved. Message frequency varies with your appointments. We do not send promotional or marketing blasts.
Rates. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out / help. Reply STOP to cancel texts. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help. You can also cancel the appointment from the link in the message.
